The Main Street Proposed project site is located on 22309 Main Street and it will be a new drive-through sit-down fast-casual restaurant which will be turning a remediated gas station into a vibrant, community-serving destination

Today the property is a shuttered, vacant gas station, zoned for commercial retail purposes.  The former gas station had been in use from 1968 to 2012, when it closed its doors due to its poor gasoline sales record.

The Orden company and affiliates have owned the property since 1980. The property has been marketed for lease over 12 years, it is zoned for commercial retail use.  There has been potential interest from several parties including convenience stores with alcohol sales, car wash operators, coffee shops and restaurants with drive-throughs.

The property is too small for most retail uses; as well as residential housing, which has proven to be a significant challenge to redevelopment a lot of 34,000 square feet.

What is being proposed is:

  • A family style sit-down restaurant drive-thru service with ample parking

  • A professionally landscaped design around the building with outdoor patio

  • A nearby food option for working families

At this time, it is not possible to determine which restaurant will occupy the facility. In the past year, The Orden Company has been in discussions with a national coffee house, regional chicken restaurant, and a major hamburger chain. All potential occupants have requested the ability to have a drive-thru option.
